I must say that the first 30 minutes of “Timeline” are absolutely terrible:
it has some of the worst acting, scripting, and altogether filming I have ever
seen in my life. I wanted to walk out – but I’m kind of glad I didn’t,
because once you get past the first 30 minutes, the movie is not that bad.
Paul Walker plays the son of an archeologist who has never been
especially interested in the past – until his father gets stuck there one day.
Before he knows it, he and his colleagues are sent to the 14th
century to rescue his father (think knights in shiny armor.) It starts to get
really exciting, with some really spectacular battle scenes that alone make the
movie worth seeing.
